Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships
The child care partnership grant was awarded to Northern Panhandle Head Start in 2015.
The intent of the grant is to improve the quality of existing child care programs and expand access for families to high quality care for infants and toddlers. The Early Head Start child care partnership offers families within our child care partners a safe a nurturing environment that supports the needs of families utilizing full day, full year programs.
Northern Panhandle Head Start partners with The Children’s Academy in Hancock County, Little Bear Daycare of Weirton in Brooke County, Glen Dale Child Development Center and Higher Hills Children’s Center in Marshall County. Combined we provide services for a total of 72 children through our child care partnership.
How can you benefit from this program?
When you are a part of the child care partnership within these center’s you have access to free formula, free diapers, ongoing assessment of your child’s developmental progress, health and behavioral screenings, and family engagement services.
