For Parents
Welcome to Our Program...
Parents play a vital role in the success of our Early Head Start and Head Start program. There are many great opportunities to share the joy of early learning with your child. You have an open invitation to the classroom. Talk with your teacher to learn how you can become involved in lesson planning, interact with the children, plan activities, and more. You can ride along on the bus, read a story, or help out with lunch time. We encourage you to participate and see first hand what your child is learning in our program. Statistics show that children who have parents involved in their education are less likely to be incarcerated when they reach adolescence. We want you to be comfortable and feel secure that your child has the best early learning experience while at Head Start - stay involved and listen carefully to your child and ensure open communication with your classroom staff. If at any time you have a question, please feel free to contact me. Thank your for allowing NPHS to provide a quality, early learning experience for your child and allowing us the opportunity to meet your family.
