Ohio County, WV - Miss Maria and Miss Becca share that during our exercise study yesterday, we read a story titled, Rah, Rah, Radishes by April Pulley Sayre. It is a rhyming story about vegetables. One day during our discussion about healthy foods and how they fuel our bodies, the children decided they wanted to try some of the vegetables named in the book. They voted on radishes and peppers. This also went hand in hand with our yoga session this week where we discussed mindful eating and using our senses. The Orchard Park pre-k students held their very own "vegetable tasting"!

This pre-k classroom operates in partnership with Ohio County Schools and prepares the children for kindergarten.
