Wetzel County, WV - The preschoolers at the Magnolia Head Start Center are all smiles about the transformation of their dramatic play area ! To what you say ? Well, an Apple Orchard of course ! Our teacher, Miss Tara and her teacher assistant Miss Tara, yes, you read that right are leading the children thru Creative Curriculum's Tree Study and the children arrived to find an Apple Orchard in their classroom to support this learning activity. The children are learning what the word orchard means, how trees and various plants grow, engage in social interactions inclusive of discussion and problem solving skills.

To learn about enrollment with our Magnolia Center located at the Magnolia High School, please call 304-455-1990 and ask for the Head Start room. We anticipate opening a second room to support more 3 yr olds, so if you have not completed an application - call today !
